The EATON FAZ-C13/2-NA is a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) designed for overcurrent protection in electrical distribution and control panel applications. Rated at 13 amps with a 2-pole configuration and a Type C trip curve, it provides reliable short-circuit and overload protection for resistive and inductive loads. The Type C characteristic makes it well suited for circuits with moderate inrush current, such as motor starters, transformers, and control equipment. Electricians and panel builders install this MCB in place of traditional molded-case breakers where compact DIN-rail mounting and precise trip performance are required.
The FAZ-C13/2-NA is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical panels and control enclosures. Its 2-pole design protects both legs of a circuit simultaneously, making it appropriate for 240-volt branch circuits or 2-phase distribution in North American installations. It is a common choice in machine control panels, HVAC equipment control wiring, and power distribution boards where DIN-rail-mounted protection devices are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature circuit breaker for use in DIN-rail-equipped electrical distribution panels and control enclosures requiring 2-pole, 13 amp overcurrent protection with a Type C trip characteristic.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before installing or replacing any circuit breaker. Verify that conductor wire gauge is properly rated for 13 amps prior to termination. Do not exceed the breaker rated ampacity or apply it to load types outside its rated trip curve.
