The EATON BUSSMANN lpn-rk-200sp is a Class RK1, dual-element, time-delay, current-limiting fuse rated at 200 amps and 250 volts AC/DC. Built with a melamine cartridge body and blade end terminals, it is designed for holder mounting in industrial and commercial electrical distribution systems. The dual-element construction provides both overload and short-circuit protection in a single fuse, while the time-delay characteristic allows normal motor inrush currents to pass without nuisance opening. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this type of fuse.
This fuse is suited for use in motor branch circuits, feeder circuits, and service entrance applications where Class RK1 performance is specified. The rejection feature ensures it cannot be installed in non-RK1 fuse holders, preventing accidental substitution with lower-rated fuses. Its 300 kA interrupting rating at 250 Vac and 100 kA at 125 Vdc makes it appropriate for systems with high available fault current. It is commonly installed in fusible disconnect switches, combination motor starters, and panelboards in residential service-entrance and light commercial applications.
Designed for use in Class RK1 fuse holders within the LPN-RK series. The rejection-type blade end terminals are compatible with RK1-rated fusible disconnect switches and combination starters that accept cartridge-style fuses with blade ends.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before removing or installing fuses. Verify that the fuse holder is rated for Class RK1 and rated for at least 200 amps and 250 volts before installation. Do not install this fuse in a non-rejection holder or in a circuit exceeding its voltage rating.
