The EATON BUSH96 is a neoprene sealing connector bushing designed for use with the Eaton Crouse-Hinds CGB Series cord and cable sealing connectors. It provides a secure, weather-resistant seal between the connector and the cord or cable, maintaining the integrity of the fitting in demanding environments. Built from neoprene, the bushing resists moisture, oils, and temperature variation. It carries UL 514B and CSA C22.2 approvals, making it suitable for wet location installations and hazardous area classifications including Class I Division 2 and Class II Division 1 and 2 enclosures. Electricians and industrial maintenance technicians use this bushing as part of a complete cord grip assembly.
This bushing is rated for wet location use and is listed for Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, and G; Class II Division 2 Groups F and G; and Class III environments. These ratings make it appropriate for industrial facilities, processing plants, commercial construction, and other locations where conduit and cord grip fittings must meet strict hazardous location or environmental standards. It is sold individually and is intended as a component part of the CGB Series assembly rather than a standalone fitting.
Designed for use with the Eaton Crouse-Hinds CGB Series cord and cable sealing connectors. Model series designation CGBS applies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before servicing cord grip fittings or replacing bushing components. Ensure the bushing is properly seated within the connector body before tightening to maintain the wet location and hazardous location seal rating. Do not substitute bushings across incompatible connector series, as fit and seal performance depend on matched components.
