The EATON BP/MDL-7 is a time-delay (slow-blow) glass tube fuse rated at 7 amps in the MDL series form factor. Measuring 1.25 inches in length by 0.25 inches in diameter, this fuse is built for circuits that experience brief, normal inrush currents at startup without triggering nuisance opens. The slow-blow characteristic allows temporary overcurrent conditions to pass while still protecting downstream components from sustained fault conditions. Each pack contains two fuses. The BP/MDL-7 is UL listed and suited for installation by electricians or qualified service technicians working on low-current electronic equipment circuits.
This fuse is rated for use with computers, satellite dishes, and general office equipment where time-delay protection is required. The MDL glass tube format is a widely used standard in electronic control panels and equipment fuse holders. The 2-pack configuration supports both initial installation and an on-hand spare, which is common practice in service environments where minimizing downtime matters.
Designed as a time-delay MDL-series replacement fuse for computers, satellite dishes, and office equipment fuse holders accepting a 1.25-inch by 0.25-inch glass tube fuse rated at 7 amps.
Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before replacing a fuse. Confirm the replacement fuse matches the original amperage rating and fuse type — substituting a fast-blow fuse for a time-delay application, or upsizing the amperage, can damage equipment or create a shock or fire hazard. Use a fuse puller where the holder design permits to avoid contact with the fuse end caps. Follow applicable NEC requirements and the equipment manufacturer's service documentation when servicing fused circuits.
