Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panelboard before removing or installing any circuit breaker. Verify that the bus bar and panel are rated to accept this breaker series and that the circuit conductor ampacity is properly coordinated with the 100 amp rating. Do not exceed the breaker's marked voltage and interrupting ratings for the installation.
