The EATON 824 is a 90-degree pull elbow designed for use with Rigid and IMC conduit systems. Constructed from malleable iron, this fitting provides a durable, threaded female-to-female connection at both ends, allowing conductors to be pulled through directional changes in conduit runs. The 824 is sized for 1-1/2 inch trade size conduit and features a removable cover that gives electricians direct access to the interior for wire pulling. It is well suited for industrial and commercial electrical installations where conduit routing requires a 90-degree turn.
This pull elbow is used in rigid metallic conduit and IMC installations in commercial, industrial, and utility environments. The female-to-female (rigid to rigid) configuration accommodates standard threaded conduit on both entry and exit ends. It is a practical solution for navigating tight spaces or structural obstructions within conduit runs where a standard elbow would not allow conductor access during the pull.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for 1-1/2 inch trade size Rigid and IMC conduit systems with standard threaded female connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before working on the conduit system. Ensure threads are properly engaged and sealed as required by the installation environment. Do not exceed the conduit fill limits specified in NEC Chapter 9 when pulling conductors through the elbow.
