The EATON 46063 is a Series 22 ATC blade-type circuit breaker rated for 25 amps at 24 volts DC. It uses a Type III manual reset mechanism, requiring deliberate operator action to restore circuit continuity after a trip event. The body is molded from UL-rated 94V0 gray thermoplastic with a metal silver cover, and the reset button is white. The blade terminal follows the ATO/ATC footprint with a 6.4 mm insertion depth and raised shroud design. Automotive electricians and industrial technicians install this breaker in low-voltage DC distribution panels, fuse block assemblies, and vehicle power circuits where repeatable, resettable overcurrent protection is required.
This circuit breaker is suited for use in 24-volt DC electrical systems where ATC blade-format overcurrent protection is needed. It is compatible with select ATC fuse blocks, including fuse holders with stock numbers 46032 and 47070. It also works with fuse blocks with stock numbers 46074 and 46075 when paired with the tall cover stock number 46086. The raised shroud and 6.4 mm insertion depth must be accounted for during installation. This part is not compatible with fuse holders stock numbers 46050 through 46063.
Compatible with select ATC fuse blocks and Delphi 12004943 ATC Fuse Block. Works with fuse holders stock numbers 46032 and 47070, and fuse blocks stock numbers 46074 and 46075 when using tall cover stock number 46086. Not compatible with fuse holders stock numbers 46050 through 46063.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician familiar with low-voltage DC systems and applicable electrical codes. De-energize the circuit and disconnect the power source before inserting or removing the breaker from any fuse block or holder. Verify the fuse block model is listed as compatible before installation, as the raised shroud and 6.4 mm insertion depth are not universally compatible with all ATC holders. After a trip event, the Type III reset requires manual actuation of the white reset button to restore the circuit.
