The EATON 44C is a NEMA 1 wireway connector from the B-Line series, designed to join straight sections of steel wireway in indoor electrical installations. Built from galvanized steel, this connector maintains a secure mechanical and electrical bond between wireway sections at a 4-inch by 4-inch cross-section. It provides a clean, enclosed pathway for conductors in commercial and industrial wiring systems. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of a complete wireway assembly to keep wire routing organized and code-compliant in panel rooms, machine rooms, and similar environments.
The EATON 44C is suited for indoor, non-hazardous locations where NEMA 1 enclosure ratings meet the application requirements. The 4-inch by 4-inch profile accommodates high conductor counts typical of commercial power distribution and control wiring. It is used in conjunction with B-Line series straight wireway sections, elbows, tees, and covers to build out complete raceway systems in facilities that require accessible, organized conductor management.
Designed as a connector fitting for EATON B-Line series NEMA 1 wireway systems with a 4-inch by 4-inch cross-section.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 376 governing metal wireways. De-energize all circuits in the wireway run before opening or joining sections. Ensure all connector hardware is tightened fully to maintain bonding continuity across the wireway assembly. Do not use NEMA 1 wireway in wet, damp, or corrosive locations without upgrading to an appropriate enclosure rating.
