The EATON 3350X4 is a 45-degree street elbow fitting machined from brass, designed for industrial pipe and fluid system applications. It connects a 1/4 inch male NPT tapered thread (MNPTF) on one end to a 1/4 inch female NPT tapered thread (FNPTF) on the other, allowing directional changes in a run of threaded pipe without the need for a separate coupling. Rated to 1,200 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this fitting suits hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and fluid transfer lines where a compact angle change is required. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the typical installers.
The 3350X4 is suited for residential and light commercial piping systems, hydraulic lines, pneumatic circuits, and fuel delivery assemblies that use 1/4 inch NPT threaded connections. Its street elbow configuration — male thread on one end, female thread on the other — allows it to thread directly into a female-threaded port or fitting without an additional adapter, saving space in tight installations. It meets SAE standard 130339 and is appropriate anywhere a 45-degree directional change in a 1/4 inch threaded line is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for any 1/4 inch MNPTF x FNPTF threaded pipe system requiring a 45-degree directional change.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified technician in accordance with applicable local and national plumbing codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly, and do not overtighten — use a properly sized pipe wrench and follow standard NPT thread engagement practices. Verify the system holds rated pressure with a leak check before returning to service.
