The EATON 3300X8 is a straight brass pipe coupling with 1/2 inch FNPTF (female National Pipe Taper Fuel) threads on both ends. Designed for industrial and mechanical fluid systems, this fitting creates a leak-resistant inline connection between two sections of threaded pipe or hose. It is rated to 1200 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The brass construction resists corrosion in water, oil, and fuel service environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of coupling in both new construction and retrofit piping runs.
This coupling is suited for a wide range of residential, commercial, and light industrial piping applications where a reliable, full-flow inline connection is required. Common uses include compressed air, hydraulic, fuel, and water distribution systems. Its straight configuration makes it a direct replacement or extension fitting wherever two FNPTF-threaded pipe ends must be joined. The compact 1-1/2 inch overall length suits installations with limited clearance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 1/2 inch FNPTF threaded pipe connections in fluid, fuel, or compressed-air service.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and IFGC or IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads mating to this coupling. Do not overtighten; use a proper pipe wrench sized to the 1-1/16 inch hex and follow standard fitting assembly practices.
