The EATON 3300X6X2 is a straight brass pipe coupling with female FNPTF threads on both ends, sized 3/8 inch by 1/8 inch. It connects two threaded pipe sections in a straight run and is rated for up to 1,200 psi working pressure and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The all-brass construction resists corrosion and handles moderate-pressure fluid and gas lines. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working on compressed air, hydraulic, fuel, and general-purpose fluid systems.
This coupling is suited for industrial and commercial piping applications where a reducing straight connection between 3/8 inch and 1/8 inch FNPTF threaded lines is required. The FNPTF thread standard ensures a pressure-tight connection without relying on sealant alone, making it appropriate for pneumatic and hydraulic circuits as well as low-pressure fuel and water lines. Its compact 15/16 inch overall length makes it practical in tight installations where space is limited.
Designed as a standard FNPTF reducing straight coupling for 3/8 inch by 1/8 inch female-threaded piping systems in industrial, commercial, and HVAC applications conforming to SAE 130138.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician familiar with threaded pipe assemblies. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fitting. FNPTF threads are designed for a dry-seal connection, but verify local code requirements regarding the use of thread sealant tape or compound. Use an appropriately sized wrench on the 7/8 inch hex to avoid distorting the fitting body.
