Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC-R technician. Recover and evacuate refrigerant from the system before removing or installing any valve in the refrigerant circuit, in accordance with EPA Section 608 regulations. Use proper flare tools to ensure a leak-free flare seat connection, and apply thread sealant rated for refrigerant service on the MNPTF threads only. Do not exceed the 150 psi rated working pressure during pressure testing or system operation.
