The EATON 2062-4-4S is a 90-degree straight thread elbow fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid system lines. It connects a 37-degree flared tube end to a male SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) port, providing a reliable, leak-resistant joint. Machined from steel, this elbow handles working pressures up to 6000 psi and operating temperatures from -65 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The fitting ships in a quantity of one and is suited for installation by hydraulic technicians, HVAC mechanics, and fluid power professionals working on tubing assemblies.
This fitting is commonly used in hydraulic circuits, refrigeration tubing lines, and fluid transfer systems where a 90-degree directional change is required at a straight-thread port. The 37-degree flare conforms to SAE standard 070220, making it appropriate for both industrial and mobile equipment applications. The male SAE ORB thread end seats against an O-ring face to eliminate thread-dependent sealing, reducing the risk of leaks in high-cycle or high-vibration environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for hydraulic, refrigeration, and fluid power tubing assemblies using 1/4 inch OD flared tube ends and SAE O-Ring Boss straight-thread ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic or mechanical technician. Depressurize and isolate the fluid system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the O-ring seating surface on the ORB port for nicks or debris before assembly, and use a new O-ring when replacing an existing fitting. Torque the ORB end to the equipment or tubing manufacturer's specified value; do not use thread sealant compounds on the straight-thread ORB end.
