The EATON 2062-10-8S is a 90-degree straight thread elbow fitting designed for hydraulic and fluid power lines that require a reliable flared tube connection with a male SAE O-Ring (ORB) end. Constructed from steel, it handles working pressures up to 6000 psi and operates across a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The 37-degree flare angle conforms to SAE standard 070220, making it suitable for high-pressure tubing runs where leak-free performance is critical. The fitting features a 1/2 inch tube outside diameter and an inside diameter of 0.48 inches. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic technicians install this type of fitting in refrigeration, hydraulic, and fluid-transfer systems.
This elbow is used in industrial, commercial, and heavy-equipment applications where tubing must change direction at a 90-degree angle while connecting to an SAE O-Ring Boss port. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic manifolds, refrigeration line sets, and fluid-power control circuits. The straight thread and O-ring sealing method reduces the risk of thread-induced leakage compared to tapered-thread fittings. The 2.2-inch overall length provides adequate clearance for wrenching in tight installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for hydraulic, refrigeration, and fluid-power systems that use 1/2 inch OD flared tubing terminating at SAE O-Ring Boss ports conforming to SAE 070220.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with hydraulic or refrigeration fitting practices. De-pressurize and isolate the fluid circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Use two wrenches to avoid twisting the tubing during tightening, and inspect the O-ring for damage before assembly. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's specification for the port size and follow applicable SAE or system design standards for the application.
