The EATON 2021-4-4S is a steel flared tube connector designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid system applications. It features a 37-degree flare seat on the tube end and a male NPT thread on the opposite end, creating a Flare x MNPT configuration that transitions between flared tubing and standard pipe threads. The connector accepts 0.25-inch tube OD with an inside diameter of 0.170 inches and measures 1.42 inches in overall length. Rated to 9,500 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is suited for demanding service conditions where a reliable, leak-resistant connection is required. Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician, pipefitter, or licensed plumber. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the flare is properly formed to a 37-degree angle using the correct flaring tool before assembly; an improperly formed flare will not seal at rated pressure. Apply thread sealant to the NPT threads in accordance with applicable codes and the fitting manufacturer guidance, and torque connections using calibrated tooling appropriate for the fitting size and system pressure.
