Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic familiar with pressurized hose assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Use the 1-1/2 inch hex to torque the fitting with an appropriately sized wrench — do not use pipe wrenches that may damage the hex flats. Inspect thread condition and apply appropriate thread sealant or tape as required by the system specification before making up the connection.
