The EATON 12E-612 is a straight female swivel fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies in high-pressure fluid power systems. It features a threaded SAE connection with a 1-1/16-12 thread size and accepts hose with a 0.75 inch inside diameter and 0.75 inch outside diameter. Constructed from steel, this Series E fitting is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3300 psi. The swivel design allows the hose end to rotate during assembly, reducing torsional stress on the hose and simplifying routing in tight installations. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power mechanics are the primary installers for this type of fitting.
This fitting is suited for mobile equipment, industrial hydraulic systems, and other high-pressure fluid power applications where SAE-standard hose connections are required. The straight body geometry accommodates direct in-line connections. It is compatible with hose size 12 (3/4 inch nominal diameter) hydraulic hose. Per EATON specifications, this fitting is designed for use with the following hose series: H009, H209, H243, H265, H275, H277, H285, H435, and H436. These cover a range of wire-braid and spiral hydraulic hoses commonly found in construction, agricultural, and industrial equipment.
Designed for use with EATON hose series H009, H209, H243, H265, H275, H277, H285, H435, and H436 in size 12 (3/4 inch nominal) hydraulic hose assemblies with SAE 1-1/16-12 threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before disconnecting or assembling any hose fittings. Use the appropriate crimping equipment and follow EATON assembly specifications for the specific hose series being used. Inspect threads and sealing surfaces for damage before installation and do not reuse fittings that show signs of deformation or wear.
