The EATON 10Z-510-BG is a JIC 37-degree male rigid hydraulic hose fitting designed for high-pressure fluid transfer applications in hydraulic systems. Manufactured from steel and finished straight, this fitting uses a threaded connection with a 7/8-14 thread size to create a leak-resistant seal at the flare interface. With a 0.63-inch hose inside diameter and 0.63-inch hose outside diameter, it is sized for standard 10 mm hose assemblies. The overall installed length is 2.73 inches and the unit weighs 0.31 pounds. It is installed by hydraulic technicians and fluid power mechanics performing hose assembly repairs or system builds.
This fitting is suited for use in mobile equipment, industrial machinery, and other hydraulic circuit applications where JIC 37-degree flare connections are specified. It is appropriate for both new hose assembly construction and field replacement of worn or damaged fittings. The 15/16-inch hex size allows for standard wrench engagement during installation and removal. It is part of the EATON Z Series and conforms to SAE J1176 standards, making it compatible with systems that require a verified flare-seal threaded fitting in a straight configuration.
Specified for use with the following EATON hose series: EC110, EC115, EC118, EC210, EC215, H0105 (-06 thru -12, -20), H0106 (-04 thru -10), H104, H115 (-04 thru -20), H116 (-04, -06, -08), H145, H145R, H1571 (-12 only), H1776 (-04 thru -20), H1777 (-04, -06, -08), H1812 (-04 thru -20), H190, H190H, H1981 (-04).
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic. Depressurize and bleed down the hydraulic system fully before removing any fittings or hose assemblies. Inspect mating surfaces and flare seats for damage before assembly, and use appropriate thread sealant practices consistent with JIC flare-type fittings. Follow applicable industry and equipment manufacturer guidelines for torque and assembly procedures.
