The EATON 08Z-112-BG is a male pipe rigid fitting designed for use with hydraulic hose assemblies in fluid power systems. This straight, threaded fitting features a 0.5 inch inside diameter and 0.75 inch outside diameter, with a 3/4-14 NPT thread size and a 1-1/16 inch hex. Constructed from steel, it provides durable, leak-resistant connections under the demanding pressure and vibration conditions common in mobile and industrial hydraulic applications. It conforms to SAE J1176 standards and belongs to the Eaton Z series of hydraulic hose fittings. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power mechanics install this fitting as part of hose end assembly or field repair work.
This fitting is suited for use in hydraulic systems where NPT threaded male pipe connections are required at the hose end. The straight configuration makes it appropriate for inline connections where hose routing does not require an angled adapter. It is compatible with a range of Eaton hydraulic hose series including EC110, EC115, EC118, EC210, EC215, H0105 (-06 thru -12, -20), H0106 (-04 thru -10), H104, H115 (-04 thru -20), H116 (-04, -06, -08), H145, H145R, H1571 (-12 only), H1776 (-04 thru -20), H1777 (-04, -06, -08), H1812 (-04 thru -20), H190, H190H, and H1981 (-04). It packages as a single unit with a minimum order quantity of one.

Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic familiar with NPT threaded fittings and hose assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic system completely before removing any existing fittings or hose ends. Use the 1-1/16 inch hex with an appropriate wrench and apply thread sealant compatible with hydraulic fluid to the NPT threads per the system manufacturer's requirements. Do not overtighten, as NPT threads are tapered and can crack steel fittings if torqued beyond appropriate engagement.
