The EATON 04Z-664-BG is a hydraulic hose swivel 90-degree tube elbow fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic line assemblies. Built from steel and rated to SAE J1176 standards, this Series Z fitting accepts a 1/4-inch (0.25 inch) hose inner diameter and uses a 7/16-20 threaded connection. The swivel function allows the hose to rotate independently of the fitting body, reducing torsional stress on the hose during installation and operation. With an overall length of 2.17 inches and a 9/16-inch hex, it installs cleanly in tight quarters. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power mechanics are the primary installers for this type of fitting.
This fitting is suited for use in mobile hydraulic systems, industrial hydraulic circuits, and fluid power assemblies where a 90-degree elbow transition is required. It is compatible with EATON hose series including EC110, EC115, EC118, EC210, EC215, H0105 (-06 thru -12, -20), H0106 (-04 thru -10), H104, H115 (-04 thru -20), H116 (-04, -06, -08), H145, H145R, H1571 (-12 only), H1776 (-04 thru -20), H1777 (-04, -06, -08), H1812 (-04 thru -20), H190, H190H, and H1981 (-04). Refer to the full EATON compatibility chart for the complete hose family listing.

Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic. Depressurize and fully de-energize the hydraulic circuit before removing or installing any fittings. Use a calibrated torque wrench and follow SAE J1176 torque specifications for the thread size. Do not over-tighten threaded hydraulic fittings, as this can damage sealing surfaces and cause leaks under pressure.
