The EATON 04Z-354-BG is a BSPP 60-degree cone female swivel straight hydraulic hose fitting designed for use in high-pressure hydraulic fluid systems. Machined from steel, it provides a threaded connection rated to SAE J1176 standards. The fitting accepts a hose with a 0.25-inch inside diameter and a 0.25-inch outside diameter, using a G 1/4-19 thread size. At 1.66 inches in overall length with a 3/4-inch hex, it is a compact inline connector suited for field service or OEM assembly work on hydraulic lines. Licensed hydraulic technicians and industrial mechanics install this part when replacing or assembling hose end fittings in mobile or stationary hydraulic circuits.
This fitting is part of the EATON Z Series and is intended for use with compatible EATON hydraulic hose assemblies in both industrial and mobile hydraulic applications. It is appropriate for systems requiring a BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) threaded interface with a 60-degree cone female swivel configuration. Compatible hose series listed in manufacturer data include EC110, EC115, EC118, EC210, EC215, H0105, H0106, H104, H115, H116, H145, H145R, H1571, H1776, H1777, H1812, H190, H190H, and H1981, subject to the specific size designations noted in the compatibility section below.
Designed for use with the following EATON hose series (size designations apply as noted): EC110; EC115; EC118; EC210; EC215; H0105 (-06 thru -12, -20); H0106 (-04 thru -10); H104; H115 (-04 thru -20); H116 (-04, -06, -08); H145; H145R; H1571 (-12 only); H1776 (-04 thru -20); H1777 (-04, -06, -08); H1812 (-04 thru -20); H190; H190H; H1981 (-04).
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or industrial mechanic familiar with hydraulic hose assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Use the 3/4-inch hex to torque the fitting with an appropriate wrench — do not use pipe wrenches or pliers on the swivel body. Follow applicable system pressure ratings and inspect the mating hose end and cone seat for damage before assembly.
