The EASYFLEX efsv-st-12cp38c is a straight stop valve designed for residential and light commercial plumbing shutoff applications. The valve features a brass body with chrome-plated finish and a zinc handle actuator for durable, corrosion-resistant operation. It connects via CPVC solvent weld on the inlet side and compression on the outlet side, rated to 125 psi and up to 180 degrees F. NBR softgoods and Brass/Copper/PTFE trim components provide reliable sealing across a range of water supply conditions. Licensed plumbers and plumbing contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This stop valve is sized at 1/2 x 3/8 inch nominal and is suited for connecting CPVC supply lines to 3/8 inch compression fittings at fixtures such as toilets, faucets, and under-sink supply points. The straight configuration keeps the valve in line with the supply run, simplifying rough-in where wall stub-outs align directly with the fixture supply connection. It is appropriate for potable cold and hot water supply systems within its rated pressure and temperature limits.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation straight stop valve for plumbing systems using CPVC supply pipe with 3/8 inch compression outlet connections at plumbing fixtures.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the main water supply and relieve line pressure before beginning work. Solvent weld the CPVC inlet per the cement manufacturer's instructions and allow full cure time before pressurizing. Do not overtighten the compression fitting nut, as this can damage the ferrule and cause leaks.
