The EASTMAN MOEN-62380 is a 1/2 inch rough-in Posi-Temp pressure balancing valve designed for PEX crimp connections. Built on the M-Pact common valve platform, it maintains consistent water temperature by balancing pressure between hot and cold supply lines. The valve body is brass construction with four ports and accepts standard PEX crimp ring fittings at the 1/2 inch connection size. It meets ASSE performance requirements for pressure balancing valves. Licensed plumbers install this valve during rough-in, before tile and trim work begin, making it a standard component in new shower and tub-shower construction.
