The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL S304-119-I is a No. 19 cobalt jobber-length drill bit built for drilling through hard and abrasion-resistant materials. Cobalt construction provides elevated heat resistance compared to standard high-speed steel, making it well suited for continuous cutting in tough stock. The jobber-length body offers the balance of reach and rigidity that most trade drilling applications require. Electricians, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and general contractors rely on cobalt jobber bits when stainless steel, hardened fasteners, or other difficult materials are on the worksite.
This drill bit is used across a range of trade and industrial applications where standard HSS bits wear prematurely. Typical scenarios include drilling through structural steel, thick-wall tubing, stainless sheet metal, and other ferrous materials encountered in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical rough-in work. The No. 19 wire gauge size fits common pilot-hole and clearance-hole requirements in trade work. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as a general-purpose cobalt jobber drill bit suitable for use in standard three-jaw drill chucks across corded drills, cordless drills, and drill presses used in trade and industrial applications.
Cobalt drill bits should be used with appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling through stainless steel or hardened materials to extend bit life and maintain cut quality. Secure the workpiece firmly before drilling to prevent walking and bit breakage. Allow the bit to cool between extended drilling cycles to preserve the cobalt alloy temper. Dispose of worn or chipped bits promptly to avoid workpiece damage.
