The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CR-3750-90-I is a high-speed steel (HSS) 90-degree center reamer designed for precise countersinking and center reaming operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. Built with a 3-flute geometry, this imperial-dimensioned tool produces clean, accurate 90-degree included-angle seats at 3/8 inch cutting diameter. The 1/4 inch shank fits standard drill chucks and collet holders commonly found on drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals rely on this style of center reamer to finish center holes to specification for shaft work, bolt countersinking, and lathe center preparation.
This center reamer is suited for general-purpose metalworking in job shops, maintenance departments, and production machining environments. The 90-degree angle conforms to standard center drill geometry used in imperial measurement setups. The 1/4 inch shank allows use in a wide range of standard toolholding systems without adapters in most setups. Typical applications include preparing workpieces for between-center turning, deburring bolt holes, and creating accurate countersink seats on steel, aluminum, and similar machinable metals.
Designed as an OEM-style imperial center reamer suitable for use in standard 1/4 inch drill chucks, ER collets, and equivalent toolholding systems on drill presses, lathes, and machining centers.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom professionals familiar with cutting tool safety practices. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is securely clamped in the chuck or collet before beginning any operation. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve finish quality. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
