The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SH-7-D is a flame-profile carbide burr designed for single cut and double cut material removal in metalworking and fabrication applications. With a 3/4 inch head diameter, this rotary burr mounts in a die grinder or rotary tool and is used for shaping, deburring, and blending workpieces in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The flame profile allows access to contoured surfaces, recesses, and irregular geometry where flat or cylindrical burrs cannot reach. At 0.13 pounds, the tool is lightweight and suited for extended handheld use in shop and field conditions.
This burr is used by machinists, pipefitters, fabricators, and tool-and-die workers for weld cleanup, port matching, chamfering, and surface finishing. The flame shape is well-suited for working inside curved surfaces, valve bodies, pipe ends, and cast components. It is appropriate for use in both production shop environments and on-site fabrication or maintenance work where material removal or surface prep is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard carbide burr for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a standard shank size. Consult tool chuck specifications before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists or fabricators using a die grinder with the appropriate collet size. Ensure the grinder is fully powered down and unplugged before inserting or removing the burr. Secure the shank firmly in the collet to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth before operating. Always wear appropriate eye protection and gloves when operating rotary cutting tools.
