The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SE-6-D is an oval-profile double cut carbide burr designed for aggressive material removal and fine finishing work across a range of metals, composites, and hard materials. The double cut pattern creates two intersecting spiral flute directions, producing a faster cut rate and a smoother surface finish compared to single cut burrs. At approximately 0.13 pounds, this is a compact, lightweight rotary tool accessory suited to die grinders and rotary tools used in fabrication, welding prep, and deburring applications. Machinists, pipefitters, welders, and metal fabricators are the primary installers and users of this tool.
The CB-SE-6-D is used in applications requiring controlled material removal in tight or contoured areas where a standard cylindrical burr cannot reach. The oval or egg-shaped SE-6 profile allows the tool to blend weld beads, remove casting flash, enlarge ports, and shape concave surfaces. It is well suited to both bench-mounted die grinder work and handheld rotary tool use in production and maintenance environments. The 5/8 inch cutting diameter makes it appropriate for medium-scale deburring and shaping tasks on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Designed as a standard rotary burr for use with die grinders and compatible rotary tools accepting the appropriate shank diameter. Consult tool and collet specifications to confirm shank fit before use.
Installation of rotary burrs should be performed by qualified machinists, fabricators, or tradespeople familiar with die grinder operation and safe rotary tool practices. Always power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before inserting or removing the burr from the collet. Secure the shank fully into the collet to the rated insertion depth and tighten per the grinder manufacturer torque guidance. Operators should wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating rotary cutting tools.
