The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SE-3-L6-D is an oval-profile, double cut carbide burr with a 3/8 inch cutting head and a 6 inch overall length. Designed for aggressive material removal, the double cut pattern produces a crosshatch flute geometry that cuts faster and generates less heat than single cut burrs. This rotary file is used in die grinders and rotary tools for deburring, shaping, and blending operations on metal, cast iron, steel, and similar hard materials. It is a standard tool in metal fabrication shops, HVAC duct work, plumbing rough-in, and industrial maintenance applications.
The CB-SE-3-L6-D is suited for professionals who need extended reach in tight or deep cavities. The 6 inch overall length allows access to areas where standard-length burrs fall short. Typical users include pipefitters, welders, machinists, HVAC installers, and maintenance technicians working on metal preparation, weld cleanup, port matching, and surface conditioning tasks. The oval shape is particularly effective for contoured surfaces and internal radiused profiles.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use carbide burr compatible with standard die grinders and rotary tools accepting 1/4 inch shank tooling.
Installation of rotary burrs should be performed by qualified tradespeople following safe tool practices. Ensure the die grinder or rotary tool is fully powered down and unplugged before inserting or removing the burr from the collet. Secure the shank fully within the collet and tighten to the tool manufacturer's specified torque range before operation. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating rotary cutting tools.
