The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SE-1-L6-D is an oval-profile carbide rotary burr with a 6-inch overall length, designed for material removal, shaping, and deburring in metalworking and fabrication applications. The SE-1 head geometry delivers aggressive stock removal in a controlled oval profile, suited for contouring inside bores, blending welds, and finishing irregular surfaces. At 0.12 pounds, it is a lightweight tool that fits standard die grinder and rotary tool chucks with a 1/4-inch shank. Fabricators, pipefitters, and machinists are the primary users of this style of burr.
This burr is appropriate for use in metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and field pipe work where access to confined or curved surfaces is required. The 6-inch overall length provides extended reach into deep cavities, ports, or pipe interiors where shorter burrs cannot access. It is well suited for ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, aluminum, and cast iron. The oval cut geometry makes it a common choice for port matching, chamfering, and blending operations on structural and mechanical components.
Designed for use with standard 1/4-inch collet die grinders and rotary tools commonly used in metal fabrication, pipefitting, and machining applications.
Installation is performed by a machinist, fabricator, or qualified tradesperson using a die grinder or rotary tool with a compatible 1/4-inch collet. Ensure the tool is fully de-energized and the collet is completely tightened before operation. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection when operating rotary burrs. Do not exceed the recommended RPM rating of the die grinder or the burr.
