The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SC-1L-D is a single-cut cylindrical radius end carbide burr designed for metal removal, deburring, shaping, and surface finishing in fabrication and maintenance applications. The cylindrical radius end profile allows the tool to work on flat surfaces, contoured edges, and inside radii without corner chatter. Single-cut flute geometry produces a smoother finish and longer chip than double-cut patterns, making it well suited for steel, stainless, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The 1/4-inch shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tools common across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general fabrication trades. The tool weighs 0.13 pounds.
This burr is used in residential and commercial trade work wherever a technician needs to enlarge or clean a hole, remove weld spatter, smooth a rough cut edge, or blend a surface before fitting pipe, conduit, or duct components. It is equally at home in a sheet metal shop, a mechanical room, or in the field. HVAC technicians reach for this profile when dressing cabinet knockouts or fitting metal brackets. Plumbers and pipefitters use it to clean up pipe ends and deburr fittings. The 1-inch cutting length provides enough working depth for most standard trade tasks without excessive tool overhang.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4-inch collet. Suitable for cutting and finishing ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials in standard trade and fabrication applications.
Carbide burrs are installed and operated by machinists, fabricators, and trade technicians using pneumatic or electric die grinders. Confirm the tool is fully seated and the collet nut is secure before operating. Always wear eye protection and appropriate gloves when using rotary cutting tools. Do not exceed the tool's rated RPM range, and allow the burr to do the cutting without excessive side-loading pressure that can chip the carbide flutes.
