The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SC-1-L6-D is a single-cut cylindrical ball-end carbide burr designed for material removal, shaping, and finishing in metal fabrication, welding prep, and mechanical maintenance work. The cylindrical ball-end profile allows access to contoured surfaces, cavities, and internal radii where flat-end tools cannot reach. At 6 inches overall length, it provides extended reach into deep bores or recessed work areas. Single-cut flute geometry produces smooth, controlled cuts with reduced chatter, making it well-suited for work on steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar materials. It is typically operated in a die grinder or rotary tool by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians.
This burr is used across a wide range of industrial and trade applications including weld seam blending, port and cavity work, deburring drilled holes, and contour finishing on fabricated components. The extended 6-inch OAL makes it practical for reaching into pipe interiors, deep castings, and confined weld joints where standard-length burrs are too short. It is a common tool in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service work involving metal components.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4-inch shank. Suitable for use on steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other common metals in fabrication and maintenance applications.
A licensed machinist or qualified tradesperson should install and operate carbide burrs according to the tool and grinder manufacturer's rated RPM specifications. Always ensure the die grinder is fully powered off and the collet is secure before changing burrs. Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves during operation. Do not exceed the maximum RPM rated for the burr or the grinder to prevent tool breakage.
