The EAGLE CUTTING TOOL CB-SB-4-D is a cylindrical end cut double cut carbide burr designed for aggressive material removal in metalworking, fabrication, and finishing applications. The double cut pattern produces two intersecting sets of flutes, allowing for faster stock removal with reduced vibration compared to single cut designs. At 7/16 inch in diameter, this burr fits a standard die grinder or rotary tool and is suited for working in confined areas or along contoured surfaces. Licensed machinists, welders, pipefitters, and metal fabricators reach for this style of burr when shaping, deburring, or blending weld joints on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This cylindrical end cut burr is used in industrial, commercial, and job-site settings where precision material removal is required. The end cut geometry allows work to be performed on flat surfaces, inside slots, and at the base of blind pockets where a standard cylindrical burr without end cutting capability cannot reach. Typical applications include weld prep, port matching, mold and die work, and general deburring of cast iron, steel, aluminum, and other metals.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fit for die grinders and rotary tools accepting common burr shank sizes used in metal fabrication and machining applications.
Carbide burrs are installed and operated by machinists, welders, and metal fabricators using pneumatic or electric die grinders. Secure the shank firmly in the collet chuck before operation and confirm the tool is rated for the intended RPM of the grinder. Always wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before use. Inspect the burr for cracks or chipping before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
