The EAGLE 1620BND is a two-drum polyethylene spill pallet designed to contain leaks and spills from stored drums in industrial and commercial environments. Built with a sump capacity of 66 gallons, it meets EPA 40 CFR 264.175 secondary containment requirements for hazardous liquid storage. The unit supports a maximum load capacity of 4,000 pounds and is constructed in a vertical drum storage configuration. Its high-density polyethylene construction resists corrosion and chemical degradation, making it a reliable choice for facilities storing oils, solvents, or other regulated liquids. Licensed safety and facilities personnel are the primary installers and users of this equipment.
This spill pallet is suited for use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, maintenance shops, and outdoor storage areas where drum containment is required. The forkliftable design allows repositioning with standard warehouse forklifts, making it practical for operations that relocate drum storage frequently. It is intended for vertical drum placement and accommodates two drums in a 2x2 configuration. Its large footprint and robust sump make it appropriate for facilities subject to EPA or state environmental compliance inspections.
Designed as an OEM-style secondary containment solution for standard vertical 55-gallon drums in two-drum storage configurations.
Placement and setup should be performed by qualified facilities or safety personnel familiar with EPA secondary containment regulations. Position the pallet on a level, stable surface capable of supporting the combined weight of the unit and filled drums. Ensure drums are secured in the vertical position before loading. Inspect the sump regularly for accumulated liquid and dispose of any collected material in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
