The E-FLEX 26104 is a gray liquid-tight flexible conduit supplied in a 100-foot coil at a 2-inch trade size. Liquid-tight flexible conduit is used to protect electrical conductors in applications where rigid conduit cannot accommodate vibration, movement, or irregular routing paths. The outer jacket seals against moisture, oils, and other liquids, making it suitable for wet and damp locations as defined by the NEC. At 145 pounds per 100 feet, this is a commercial-weight product intended for licensed electricians and journeymen working in industrial, commercial, or heavy mechanical applications.
This conduit is commonly installed as the final connection to motors, compressors, HVAC equipment, pumps, and other machinery where vibration isolation or frequent repositioning is required. The 2-inch trade size accommodates larger conductor bundles typical in 3-phase motor connections, large RTU disconnects, and commercial mechanical room wiring. It is also used in exterior and wet-location installations where the liquid-tight jacket provides an added layer of environmental protection over standard flexible conduit.
Designed for use with standard 2-inch liquid-tight flexible conduit fittings in commercial and industrial electrical installations. No specific compatible equipment families were identified in the product data.
Installation must comply with NEC Article 350 governing liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit or Article 351 for liquid-tight flexible metal conduit, depending on construction. De-energize all circuits before making connections and verify lockout-tagout procedures are in place. Use listed liquid-tight fittings rated for the conduit type and the installation environment. Do not exceed the maximum conduit fill ratios specified in NEC Chapter 9 tables for the conductors being installed.
