The E-FLEX 20801 is a black liquid-tight flexible conduit supplied in a 100-foot coil at 3/8 inch trade size. Liquid-tight flexible conduit (LFNC or LFMC depending on core construction) provides a sealed raceway that protects conductors from moisture, oil, and mechanical damage in wet or damp locations. The outer jacket resists liquids while the flexible core allows routing around obstructions and vibrating equipment. Electricians install this product in industrial, commercial, and residential applications where a rigid conduit run is impractical and moisture protection is required. At 29 pounds per 100-foot coil, the product ships as a single unit ready to cut to length on the job.
This conduit is suited for connections to motors, HVAC equipment, compressors, pumps, and other machinery where vibration isolation and a liquid-tight seal are both needed. It is commonly used in mechanical rooms, rooftop units, and outdoor equipment connections. The 3/8 inch trade size accommodates small-gauge conductor bundles typical of control wiring and low-amperage motor circuits. Licensed electricians install liquid-tight flexible conduit as part of an NEC-compliant wiring method, using listed fittings at each termination to maintain the liquid-tight rating.
Designed for use with standard 3/8 inch liquid-tight flexible conduit fittings in NEC-compliant electrical installations for HVAC, motor, and equipment connections.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 for liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit or Article 356 as applicable to the conduit type. De-energize all circuits before making terminations. Use only listed liquid-tight fittings sized for 3/8 inch trade conduit at each end to maintain the moisture seal. Support and secure the conduit at intervals required by the NEC to prevent sagging or mechanical strain on fittings.
