The DYNABRADE X61H is a 6-inch random orbital air-powered sander built for surface finishing work in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi and consuming 19 CFM, it spins a 6-inch round hook-and-loop backing pad at up to 12,000 OPM. The 3/16-inch orbit diameter delivers a fine swirl-free finish suited for auto body work, fabrication shops, and general metal or wood surface prep. A 1/4 NPT inlet connects directly to standard shop air lines. At 1.86 pounds, it is light enough for extended overhead or side-panel work without significant fatigue. Installation and operation require a 1/4-inch minimum hose and a clean, dry air supply.
The X61H is intended for professional use in automotive body shops, metal fabrication facilities, woodworking operations, and general industrial finishing environments. The hook-and-loop pad system allows fast disc changes without tools, keeping downtime low during production surface prep or finishing runs. The unit is suited for applications where a consistent random orbital scratch pattern and low operator fatigue are priorities. No vacuum port is included, so dust collection must be managed externally if required by the work environment.
Designed for use with standard 6-inch hook-and-loop abrasive discs. Requires a compressed air supply capable of delivering 90 psi and 19 CFM through a minimum 1/4-inch air hose.
Installation and connection should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic tool hookups. Shut off and bleed the compressed air line before connecting or disconnecting the tool. Verify the air supply is clean and dry, as moisture and contaminants shorten tool service life. Ensure the supply hose meets the 1/4-inch minimum inside diameter requirement and is rated for the operating pressure.
