The DYNABRADE X61 is a pneumatic random orbital sander built for surface finishing work in automotive, fabrication, and industrial environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi with a 19 CFM air consumption rate, it runs a 6-inch adhesive PSA backing pad at up to 12,000 OPM. The 3/16-inch orbit diameter delivers a fine, swirl-minimizing finish suited for paint prep, primer sanding, and final-stage surface leveling. At 1.86 pounds, it is light enough for extended overhead and vertical work. The 1/4 NPT inlet connects to standard shop air lines with a minimum 0.25-inch hose. Output is 0.3 HP.

The X61 is used in body shop, metal fabrication, woodworking, and general industrial finishing applications. It is well suited for flat and slightly contoured surfaces where a 6-inch round pad provides consistent coverage. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by the operator or a qualified pneumatic tool technician. Use a properly rated air line filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly upstream to protect the motor and extend tool life. Disconnect from the air supply before changing the backing pad or sanding disc.
