The DYNABRADE X32 is a pneumatic random orbital sander built for surface finishing work in automotive, metalworking, and woodworking applications. It runs at 12,000 RPM and operates at 90 psi with an air consumption of 8 CFM through a 1/4-inch inlet. The 3-inch hook and loop backing pad accepts standard abrasive discs and delivers a 3/32-inch orbit diameter for a smooth, swirl-minimizing finish. Rated at 0.1 horsepower, this tool is compact and lightweight at 1.78 pounds, making it practical for overhead or confined-space work. Licensed tradespeople and finishing technicians are the primary users.
The X32 is suited for light to medium material removal, blending, and finish sanding on flat and mildly contoured surfaces. Its 3-inch pad size makes it appropriate for detail work, spot repairs, and areas where a larger sander would be difficult to control. The tool connects to a standard shop air supply via a 1/4-inch inlet and requires a minimum hose size of 1/4 inch or 6 mm. It does not include integrated vacuum capability, so dust collection must be managed externally. Typical users include automotive body technicians, metal fabricators, and finish carpenters.
Designed for use with standard 3-inch hook and loop abrasive discs. Requires a compressed air supply capable of sustaining 90 psi and 8 CFM at the tool inlet.
Connection and use of pneumatic tools should follow the tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable OSHA compressed air safety requirements. Shut off and bleed the air supply line before connecting or disconnecting the tool or changing abrasive discs. Ensure the supply hose meets the minimum 1/4-inch inside diameter requirement to maintain rated performance. Do not exceed the rated 90 psi operating pressure at the inlet.
