The DYNABRADE NF1 is a pneumatic belt straight line sander designed for industrial and trade applications including deburring, grinding, sanding, and strap polishing. It operates at 90 psi air pressure and delivers 0.5 horsepower (373W) to drive an 18-inch abrasive belt along a straight, controlled path. The tool measures 15 inches in overall length and weighs 2.8 pounds, making it manageable for extended use. It includes an 11206 Contact Arm and is CE Certified. The front exhaust location directs air away from the work surface, keeping the path clear during operation. Air inlet is 1/4 inch NPT, compatible with standard shop air fittings.
The NF1 is suited for metal fabrication, weld finishing, and surface preparation tasks in manufacturing, maintenance, and industrial service environments. Its straight-line belt action is effective on flat and contoured surfaces where rotary tools are impractical. Typical users include maintenance mechanics, fabricators, and metalworking technicians working on deburring sharp edges, blending welds, and preparing surfaces for coating or inspection. The compact form factor allows access to tight areas on fabricated assemblies.
Designed for use with 18-inch abrasive belts and standard 1/4 inch NPT pneumatic supply lines. Includes the 11206 Contact Arm as part of the standard package. Consult DYNABRADE accessory listings for compatible replacement belts and contact arms.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic abrasive tools. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed 90 psi and that the minimum hose size of 0.38 inches (10mm) is met to maintain proper airflow. Disconnect from the air supply before changing belts or contact arms. Follow applicable OSHA and ANSI abrasive tool safety standards when operating in an industrial environment.
