The DYNABRADE DGS31 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, and finishing work in industrial and trade settings. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi and rated at 0.3 horsepower, it reaches a free speed of 25,000 RPM, delivering consistent material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The 1/4-inch collet accepts standard die grinder burrs, stones, and mounted points. A rotational rear exhaust directs spent air away from the work surface and the operator, and a safety-lock lever prevents accidental throttle engagement. Airflow demand is 2.5 CFM, making it compatible with most shop compressor setups. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die techs are the primary installers and operators.
The DGS31 is suited for close-tolerance material removal in metal fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and production line environments. Its straight inline profile allows access to confined areas where angle grinders cannot reach. The lever throttle provides proportional speed control for operators working on delicate surfaces or stepped removal tasks. With a compact footprint measuring 6.2 inches in length, 1.8 inches in height, and 1.6 inches in width, it fits comfortably in one hand during extended use. CE and EAC certifications indicate compliance with applicable European and Eurasian safety standards.
Designed as a straight inline air die grinder accepting 1/4-inch shank mounted points, carbide burrs, and grinding stones commonly used in metalworking and fabrication applications.
Connection to the air supply should be made only after confirming the safety-lock lever is engaged and the throttle is in the closed position. Use an inline air filter-regulator-lubricator set to the rated 90 psi to protect the internal motor and maintain consistent performance. Engage and disengage tooling with the air supply disconnected, following the collet torque and tooling RPM ratings stamped on the accessory packaging. Operators should wear appropriate eye protection and hearing protection during use in accordance with applicable workplace safety regulations.
