The DYNABRADE DGR31 is a 1/4-inch angle air die grinder built for precision material removal, deburring, porting, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi and 2.5 CFM, it delivers up to 16,000 RPM through a 0.3 HP motor. The angled head positions the spindle for access to recessed areas, tight corners, and contoured workpiece surfaces. A lever-style throttle with a safety-lock mechanism gives operators positive speed control during continuous use. A rotational rear exhaust directs airflow away from the work surface and the operator. Licensed trades and production machinists are the primary installers and users of this tool.
The DGR31 is suited for metalworking, fabrication, automotive, aerospace, and general manufacturing applications where a right-angle spindle orientation is required. The 1/4-inch collet accepts standard die grinder bits, carbide burrs, mounted points, and rotary files. It is appropriate for both bench-side and in-situ work on assemblies where a straight die grinder cannot reach. The lever throttle and safety-lock design make it practical for sustained grinding passes without operator fatigue.
Designed for use with standard 1/4-inch shank die grinder accessories including carbide burrs, mounted grinding points, and rotary files compatible with 16,000 RPM-rated tooling.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic tool safety practices. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi and that an inline filter-regulator-lubricator is present to protect internal components. Ensure the collet is fully tightened with the appropriate wrench before running the tool, and confirm accessory shank ratings are compatible with the maximum free speed. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and PPE requirements when operating grinding tools.
