This pad is suited for material removal and surface prep applications on metal, welds, and similar substrates in both shop and field settings. Installation is performed by metalworking, fabrication, or finishing technicians familiar with pneumatic and electric abrasive tools. Before mounting or removing the pad, disconnect the tool from its air supply or power source and allow any spinning components to come to a complete stop. Thread the pad onto the 1/4-20 spindle by hand until snug, and verify it is fully seated before operating. Never exceed the rated 12,000 RPM maximum speed; confirm tool speed against the pad rating before use.
