The DYNABRADE 59013 is a pneumatic palm-style random orbital sander built for surface finishing applications in automotive, aerospace, woodworking, and general fabrication environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psig operating pressure, it delivers 12,000 orbits per minute (OPM) through a 6-inch round urethane sanding pad. Air consumption runs at 14 CFM, and the tool connects via a 1/4 NPT inlet. With a 0.375-inch orbit diameter and a rated output of 0.25 HP, it produces consistent swirl-free finishes across flat and mildly contoured panels. At 1.5 pounds, it reduces operator fatigue during extended use. Installed and operated by finishing technicians, auto body professionals, and fabricators working with pneumatic tool systems.
The 59013 is suited for flat and near-flat surface preparation, primer sanding, sealer leveling, and final finish work on automotive body panels, wood surfaces, and composite materials. The vacuum-ready design supports connection to dust extraction systems, making it applicable in both open shop environments and dust-controlled workspaces. The included premium urethane weight-mated sanding pad ensures balanced orbit motion and even abrasive contact across the full 6-inch pad face. A minimum hose size of 0.25 inches is required to maintain adequate airflow at the tool.
Designed for use with standard 6-inch round hook-and-loop or pressure-sensitive adhesive sanding discs. Vacuum port is compatible with standard shop dust extraction fittings. Requires a compressed air supply capable of delivering 14 CFM at 90 psig through a 0.25-inch or larger air hose.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified pneumatic tool technician or experienced tradesperson familiar with compressed air systems. Before attaching or removing the sanding pad or connecting air lines, verify the air supply is fully shut off and depressurized. Ensure the supply hose meets the 0.25-inch minimum inside diameter requirement and that line pressure is regulated to 90 psig before operation. Do not exceed rated operating pressure, as overpressure can damage internal components and void tool integrity.
