The DYNABRADE 52669 is a straight air die grinder built for precision material removal, surface finishing, and tooling work in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi, it delivers up to 20,000 RPM with a 1 hp output, making it suitable for grinding, deburring, and porting operations. The lever throttle gives the operator direct speed control during use. Rear exhaust directs airflow away from the work surface, keeping debris out of the operator's line of sight. Weighing 2.2 pounds, it is compact enough for extended use in confined or overhead applications. Licensed trades and production machinists are the primary installers and operators of this tool.
The 52669 is designed for use in metalworking, fabrication, automotive, and aerospace finishing applications where a straight-profile die grinder is required. It accepts a 1/4 inch collet insert (50013) included with the tool. Optional collet inserts expand compatibility to 1/8 inch (50065), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016), and 8 mm (50039) shank sizes, covering a wide range of rotary burrs, mounted points, and carbide tooling. Typical install scenarios include production floor stations and bench work where a regulated compressed air supply at 90 psi is available.
Accepts 1/4 inch collet insert (50013) included. Compatible with optional collet inserts: 1/8 inch (50065), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016), and 8 mm (50039). Designed for use with standard rotary burrs, mounted points, and carbide tooling matching the supported shank sizes.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic tooling and compressed air systems. Before attaching or changing collet inserts or tooling, disconnect the air supply line completely. Verify the shop air supply is regulated to the specified operating pressure before connecting the tool. Follow applicable OSHA standards and manufacturer guidelines for abrasive and rotary tooling speed ratings to ensure the mounted accessory RPM rating meets or exceeds the tool free speed.
