The DYNABRADE 52667 is a straight air die grinder built for precision material removal, deburring, porting, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psig operating pressure, it delivers a speed range of 10,000 to 17,999 RPM and accepts a 1/4 inch collet insert for standard rotary tooling. The lever-style throttle gives operators direct speed control during use. Rear exhaust directs airflow away from the workpiece, keeping the work area cleaner and reducing debris contamination. At 2.2 pounds, it is light enough for extended use in tight spaces. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die technicians, fabricators, and industrial maintenance trades are the primary installers and operators.
The 52667 suits applications where controlled, high-speed rotary action is required on metal, composites, or similar materials. Common use cases include deburring weld seams, grinding port openings, cleaning casting flash, and finish-blending in fabrication or maintenance settings. The lever throttle allows feathered control for detail work. The 1/4 inch collet is the standard starting configuration, with optional collet inserts available for 1/8 inch, 3/8 inch, 6 mm, and 8 mm tooling shanks, making the tool adaptable across a range of rotary accessory sizes without changing the grinder body.
Includes 1/4 inch collet insert (50013). Fits optional collet inserts: 1/8 inch (50065), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016), and 8 mm (50039). Designed as an OEM-style straight die grinder for use with standard rotary burrs, carbide bits, and mounted points compatible with the listed collet sizes.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic hand tools and compressed air systems. Before changing collets or tooling, disconnect the air supply line and verify pressure has been fully relieved. Ensure the shop air supply is regulated to the rated 90 psig operating pressure and that the line is fitted with a proper moisture separator or filter-regulator-lubricator unit to protect internal components. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and always verify that collet and tooling are fully seated and secured before applying air pressure.
