The DYNABRADE 52206 is a lever-throttle angle air die grinder designed for precision material removal, deburring, porting, and finishing in demanding shop and field environments. It operates at up to 30,000 RPM and delivers 0.4 horsepower at 90 psi air pressure, requiring 21 CFM of air supply. The front exhaust design directs spent air away from the work surface, keeping debris out of the operator's line of sight. This tool is intended for use by machinists, fabricators, tool-and-die technicians, and mechanical contractors who need a compact, high-speed rotary grinder for close-tolerance work.
The 52206 is suited for deburring castings, grinding welds, porting cylinder heads, and detail finishing on metal workpieces in both production and maintenance environments. Its angled head allows access to recessed areas and tight clearances that straight-body grinders cannot reach. The included 1/4 inch and 6 mm collet inserts cover the most common carbide burr and mounted point shanks used in trade applications. An optional 1/8 inch collet insert (01495) and 3 mm collet insert (01496) are available for finer tooling.
Accepts 1/4 inch and 6 mm shank tooling standard. Compatible with optional 1/8 inch and 3 mm collet inserts (sold separately). Designed for use with carbide burrs, mounted grinding points, and similar rotary die grinder tooling at the appropriate shank diameter.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic tool safety practices. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed 90 psi and that the CFM capacity of the compressor and line meets the tool's 21 CFM requirement. Inspect the collet and collet nut for wear or damage before seating any burr or mounted point, and ensure the shank is fully engaged and the collet nut is properly tightened before operation. Always disconnect the air supply before changing collets or tooling.
