The DYNABRADE 51811 is a straight air die grinder built for precision material removal, deburring, and surface finishing in demanding trade and industrial environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psig, it spins a 1/16 inch collet at up to 100,000 RPM, delivering 0.1 HP through a lever-style throttle for controlled operation. Air consumption runs at 6 CFM with a rear exhaust design that directs airflow away from the workpiece and operator. The compact straight-body configuration gives technicians and machinists direct access to tight spaces where larger grinders cannot reach.
This grinder is suited for metalworking, tool-and-die, automotive, and fabrication applications where high-speed rotary work is required in confined areas. The 1/16 inch collet accepts small-shank carbide burrs, mounted points, and abrasive bits commonly used for port work, weld cleanup, and detailed deburring. It is typically used by machinists, maintenance technicians, and metal fabricators on both shop floor and field service applications. The included high-quality flexible air hose supports quick integration into existing compressed-air setups.
Designed for use with standard compressed-air systems operating at 90 psig. Accepts 1/16 inch shank rotary tooling including carbide burrs and mounted abrasive points typical of die grinding applications.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic hand tools and compressed-air systems. Verify the air supply is regulated to 90 psig and that the line delivers a minimum of 6 CFM before connecting the grinder. Always depressurize and disconnect the air supply before changing collets or accessories. Use appropriate eye protection and hearing protection during operation in accordance with applicable workplace safety standards.
