The DYNABRADE 51810 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, porting, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. It operates at up to 100,000 RPM and accepts a 1/8 inch collet, making it suitable for small-diameter mounted points and carbide burrs. Powered by compressed air at 90 psig, it delivers 0.1 hp and requires 6 CFM of air flow. The rear exhaust design directs spent air away from the work surface, reducing debris scatter. A lever-style throttle gives the operator direct, tactile speed control during use. Machinists, tool and die techs, and metalworking professionals are the primary users of this tool.
The 51810 is suited for precision material removal on metals, composites, and similar hard materials in production, maintenance, and repair settings. Its 1/8 inch collet accommodates standard small-shank mounted grinding points, carbide burrs, and rotary files used in die work, mold finishing, and weld cleanup. The compact straight-body profile allows access to tight workspaces and confined cavities. The tool ships with a high-quality flexible air hose, allowing immediate connection to a standard shop air supply.
Designed as an OEM-style straight air die grinder for use with standard 1/8 inch shank rotary tooling and compatible with shop air systems supplying 90 psig at a minimum of 6 CFM.
Connection and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air tools and applicable workplace safety standards. Verify the air supply is regulated to 90 psig and delivers at least 6 CFM before connecting. Always shut off and bleed the air line before changing collets or mounted accessories. Inspect the flexible air hose and fittings for wear or leaks before each use.
