The DYNABRADE 51305 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing tasks in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi, it delivers up to 18,000 RPM through a lever-style throttle, giving the operator direct speed control during use. The rear exhaust design directs airflow away from the work surface and the operator, keeping the work area cleaner. At 1.8 pounds, it is lightweight enough for extended use in tight spaces. This tool is installed and serviced by maintenance mechanics, machinists, pipefitters, and industrial tradespeople who work with pneumatic tooling.
The DYNABRADE 51305 suits metal fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and mechanical service environments where consistent material removal and finishing work are required. It accepts a standard 1/4 inch collet insert and is compatible with optional collet inserts in 1/8 inch, 3/8 inch, 6 mm, and 8 mm sizes, making it adaptable to a range of grinding bits, burrs, and mounted points. The lever throttle allows precise modulation for finish work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials alike.
Accepts a 1/4 inch collet insert (50013) included in the package, with optional compatibility for 1/8 inch (50065), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016), and 8 mm (50039) collet inserts sold separately. Designed for use with standard pneumatic die grinder accessories including mounted points, carbide burrs, and abrasive stones.
Connection to a compressed air supply should be made by a qualified operator following the tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable workplace safety standards. Ensure the air supply is shut off and the line is depressurized before changing collets or accessories. Verify the air supply delivers clean, dry, lubricated air at the rated pressure to maintain tool performance and service life. Do not exceed the rated air pressure of 90 psi.
