The DYNABRADE 51302 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi, it delivers up to 20,000 RPM and 0.5 horsepower through a 1/4 inch collet, making it well-suited for working in tight or restricted areas. The lever-style throttle gives the operator direct speed control, and the front exhaust design directs airflow away from the work surface. Weighing 1.5 pounds, it is light enough for extended use without significant fatigue. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary users of this tool.
The 51302 is used in metalworking, fabrication shops, automotive repair, and general industrial maintenance where pneumatic tooling is standard. It performs well for deburring cast parts, cleaning weld seams, porting work, and finishing in areas where a larger grinder cannot reach. The 1/4 inch collet accepts standard die grinder bits and burrs widely available in trade supply. Optional collet inserts allow compatibility with 1/8 inch, 3/8 inch, 6 mm, and 8 mm tooling. A compressed air supply capable of delivering 90 psi and adequate CFM is required at the point of use.
Includes a 1/4 inch collet insert (50013). Fits optional collet inserts: 1/8 inch (50065), 3/8 inch (50014), 6 mm (50016), and 8 mm (50039). Designed for use with standard compressed air systems operating at 90 psi.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic tooling. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi operating pressure. Use a properly sized air fitting and ensure the air line is free of moisture and debris; an inline filter-regulator-lubricator is recommended per standard pneumatic tool practice. Always disconnect the air supply before changing collets or tooling.
